Though most people understand vegan diets to be difficult, there are plenty of options to ensure they're really not. All of the below are great snacking foods for vegans, and-bonus!-some of them are gluten-free as well. Of course, packaging facilities and recipes vary, so be sure to read all the ingredients on a snack before diving right in.
Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups - Justin's$23.88BUY NOWIf you were to call these super rich bites "healthy," it wouldn't be so far of a stretch. The fact that they are (1) vegan, (2) made with organic peanut butter, and (3) covered in Rainforest Alliance-certified chocolate doesn't hurt either.
Biena Roasted Chickpea Snacks, Sea Salt - Biena$4.59BUY NOWProtein- and fiber-packed and delicious-not a bad thing to shovel into your face by the handful.
Pizootz Flavor Infused Premium Virginia Artisan Peanuts - BUY NOW $6.49, cvs.comPeanuts (and all nuts, really) are an excellent, filling snack for vegans, but you don't need to resign yourself to eating flavorless ones. These come in four flavors: baja taco, sea salt and cracked pepper, inferno, and habanero.
Soft Pretzel Bites - Pretzilla$6.29BUY NOWYou might suspect what makes soft pretzels delicious (butter, for one) would mean they're not delicious without it. Au contraire, my friend. These are great. And are there three more beautiful words in the English language than "salt packet included?"
Organic Chewy Granola Bars, Oatmeal Raisin - Annie's$5.44BUY NOWA lot of things Annie's makes are either gluten-free or vegan-these fall into the latter category. A solid breakfast choice, TBH.
