Inside the Rough Election Night for Renewables
Nov.08 -- Colorado voters rejected a plan that sought to limit drillers in the state. Proposition 112 was voted down, and would have forced oil and gas development further away from residential and environmentally "sensitive" areas, curbing drilling across more than half of Colorado. Voters in Washington State also defeated a carbon-fee initiative, and Arizona rejected a push to make electric companies use more wind and solar.
