Vanderbilt announced freshman point guard Darius Garland is out indefinitely after suffering a meniscus injury during Friday's 77-75 loss to Kent State.

Garland played just two minutes before heading to the locker room.

The five-star recruit was the highest-rated point guard prospect in ESPN's 2018 top 100 recruits.

Garland has helped lead the Commodores to a 4-0 start, averaging 19.8 points, 4.8 boards, and 3.3 assists before suffering the injury.
