Two storms will affect the South this week. The first one we're dealing with now will produce mostly rain, but parts of West Virginia and Virginia will have enough ice and snow for travel problems tonight. A soaking rain over areas that have been wet lately is the greater concern; there's a risk for flooding. Parts of the Deep South will have isolated severe storms, too. After a break in the action, a second storm will move through later this week. I have a little more concern for severe weather with this second storm later in the week. We will again have a soaking in areas that don't need it. Also, once again, we won't have much in the way of ice and snow, but some folks will have a little at the tail end of rain, especially in the Appalachians.
