Warning: Riverdale season 3 finale spoilers ahead.

Here's an exclusive look at my face immediately after finishing the Riverdale season 3 finale: 😦. Seriously, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and the rest of the writers truly know how to leave a girl wanting more, and now I have to wait SO LONG until season four can come around and give me some closure (as well as shock me even more, I'm sure). So, while I wait and consider every crazy fan theory popping off on Reddit right now, let's explore the 8 questions that desperately need to be answered in Riverdale season 4.

Where's Penelope?

At the end of the finale, we get a classic voice over from Jughead who helps to wrap some things up for us. He explains that Hal Cooper is dead (which we knew), and Chic is in jail (thank goodness). He also reveals, however, that Penelope slipped away, after going absolutely crazy, trapping four kids in a murderous life-sized board game, and then shooting her former fling in the head.

So, where in Penelope? Is she in Athens, the other town that was taken over by Griffins & Gargoyles? Or maybe she's in Greendale (I mean, she is the closest thing to a witch that Riverdale has). It's unclear exactly where she escaped off too, but we can probably expect she will be back in season four to seek revenge on everyone, especially her daughter, for spoiling her maniacal plan.

Where did everyone at the farm go?

In the end of the season, all that's left of The Farm is a crying Kevin, surrounded by piles of white clothes. While the other members of the cult organ farm "ascended," Kevin was left behind to "explain what happened." So, what did happen? What does ascension mean? Did everyone in The Farm literally drink the cool-aid and die in the name of Edgar Evernever? Or are they simple off to another town to gather more organs? Hopefully FBI agent, Alice Cooper, will be able to clear things up for us.

Who's taking care of the babies?

Penelope is in hiding, Alice and Polly have ascended, so who the heck is taking care of Juniper and Dagwood?? When Cheryl finally escapes The Farm with Juniper, the baby gets handed over to Nana Blossom, but is Dagwood in the care of the old woman too? And Nana even capable of taking care of these babies on her own? Someone should honestly probably call Child Protective Services.

What's up with Cheryl?

At the end of the episode we see Cheryl enjoying some quality time with her very very dead brother. Seriously, what is going on with that? Is she just going to keep her brother's corpse in her living room and hang out with him whenever she is feeling lonely? Is Toni OK with this? Is Riverdale going to turn into The Walking Dead? Honestly, zombies would kind of be a natural progression for Riverdale at this point.

What's Hiram's next step?

Despite the fact that he is in prison, Hiram seems to be doing very well. He got his wife arrested and he seems to have the guards at Lodge Prison wrapped around his fingers, which is unsurprising to say the least. The mob boss seems to have some major plans, and he will obviously have no issue getting them done from the confines of jail. So, what is his next step? And how will he continue to ruin his poor daughter's life. Ah, the possibilities are endless.

Will Bughead survive now that they share a sibling?

The weirdest moment of the finale? When Betty and Jughead are faced head on with the fact that they share a sibling. The moment is hilariously awkward and just as ridiculous as it should be. But what will happen to Bughead now that they can't avoid the fact that they share a brother? Not to mention, if they are going to work at taking down The Farm, they will probably be spending a lot of time with Charles. The three of them will become one big happy family! You know, a family where two of the members are hooking up...

Will anyone acknowledge fred andrews?

Season three ended without any acknowledgment that Fred Andrews would not be returning following the death of actor Luke Perry. So, will they continue to say that he left town for a bit while Mary fills in the role as parental figure for Archie, or will they finally explain Fred's absence in season four? Cole Sprouse mentioned in an interview that they have "something planned narratively," but so far there is still no explanation.

What the hell is going to happen to Jughead?

The most shocking moment of the finale comes in the flash forward, when we get to see the gang on their senior spring break. But if you think Archie, Veronica, Jughead, and Betty are spending their vacay lounging on the beach, you've obviously never seen Riverdale. Despite the fact that the four friends toast to a normal senior year at the end of the finale, this clip proves that is not going to happen as Archie, Betty, and Veronica are seen standing around a bonfire, in their underwear, and covered in blood. Betty tells the other two that they have to burn their clothes, wash off the blood, and then never speak of what happened ever. OK, but what happened??! And why is Jughead no where to be found in this scene? PLEASE tell me that's not Jughead's blood. My heart can't handle saying goodbye to that burger-loving face.
