Kathy Griffin asked to be moved away from Les Moonves at restaurant
According to Variety’s Ramin Setoodeh, comic Griffin was at the Polo Lounge when she spotted Moonves seated nearby.
“She loudly asked the waitress to move her, saying: ‘I don’t want to be seated next to a rapist,’” Setoodeh tweeted.
Griffin confirmed the incident, adding, “I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw him . . . The nerve to be sitting in such a high profile Hollywood restaurant. All I could think [was:] what if one of his victims innocently walked in, only to have to face this monster?”
Moonves has denied accusations of sexual misconduct.
