Angelica Hale is just plain Angel to many. The eleven-year-old singer stunned the America’s Got Talent competition in 2017 to reach the finale, where she came in second place behind the winner, child ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer.

The youngster is both a kidney transplant survivor and the first contestant to receive two golden buzzers. Nothing is impossible for this one. So it was fitting that the Atlanta native covered “Impossible,” a song originally recorded by Shontelle and popularized by X Factor U.K. series nine winner James Arthur.

Hale impressed, yet again. “You got everything right, it was absolutely brilliant,' judge Mel B said.

The winner of NBC’s champions off-shoot will be announced next Monday.
