Warriors superstar Steph Curry raised eyebrows earlier this week when he said on a podcast that he doesn’t believe that astronauts landed on the surface of the moon. NASA immediately offered evidence of the moon landing and invited Curry for a tour of the Johnson Space Center in Houston. Curry later claimed that he was joking all along, but just as Kyrie Irving has had to endlessly answer questions about the shape of the earth, it’s likely that Curry’s moon take will follow him for years to come.

On Friday night in Sacramento, the Kings ribbed Curry by playing footage of the moon landing while the PA announcer introduced the Warriors. Curry got a big laugh out of it.

Some fans sitting behind the basket brought cutouts of astronauts and the moon to wave while the Warriors were taking free throws.

The Warriors staged a furious comeback in the fourth quarter, holding the Kings to just two points over the final 4:23 to erase a 10-point deficit and win by five. Curry finished the game with 35 points.
