Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott had some words of advice for two NFL players currently on the commissioner’s exempt list.

One of those is Washington Redskins linebacker Reuben Foster. Here’s what Elliott had to say, per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk:

“Just focus on your day-to-day life, making sure you’re winning the next day. When you start looking down the road, you can kind of get bogged down. Just make sure you focus on the day to day and doing better day to day and things are going to work themselves out.”

The Redskins were the only team to put in a claim on Foster, who was released by the San Francisco 49ers after an arrest on domestic violence charges.

The Kansas City Chiefs released Kareem Hunt after video of him kicking a woman went public.

As for Elliott, reporters asked him about the situations due to his six-game suspension in 2017 after he was accused of domestic violence.
