April 16--CHEYENNE -- The University of Wyoming men's golf team finished 10th in the 17-team field Sunday at the Arizona State Thunderbird Invitational in Tempe, Arizona.

The Cowboys recorded a final round of 297 for a 870 three-round total in the regular-season finale. Host Arizona State won the invite by one stroke with an 830 over UNLV.

UW seniors Drew McCullough and Glenn Workman each carded a 70 on Sunday. McCullough tied for 27th, while Workman had a share of 41st.

Seniors Arron Lickteig (78) and Quintin Pope, a Cheyenne East graduate, (79) took 46th and 83rd, respectively.

The Cowboys will play in the Mountain West championships, starting Friday at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Washington.
