May 16--It's not for the NBA, but former Ohio State men's basketball players Jae'Sean Tate and Kam Williams will take place in the Professional Basketball Combine next week at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

The combine, which will take place May 22-23, features 24 different players who have no further collegiate eligibility. Of the 23 participants last season, all of them signed professional contracts including 15 with either the NBA's G League or two-way NBA contracts. This is the second year for the event.

Tate and Williams will use their experience to benefit charity, as well. Fans can donate for every inch of the combined vertical jumps for the two former Buckeyes, with the money raised going to PeacePlayers. According to a release, the charity's mission is "to use the power of sport to unite, educate and empower young people to create a more peaceful world."
