Nov. 14--Richard Grosso, an environmental and land use lawyer, will address delegates of the Coalition of Boynton West Residential Associations Wednesday at the Villaggio residential development on Hypoluxo Road west of Florida's Turnpike.

The coalition has argued that GL's plan, which calls for preserving land it owns in The Acreage/Loxahatchee area in exchange for permission to build more in the Ag Reserve, would increase south county traffic, threaten the environment and agriculture. COBWRA also maintains that the plan would usher in the end of the Ag Reserve, where county rules have limited development.

GL, meanwhile, says its plan would increase the number of acres in agriculture and preservation in the county, aid farming by providing a more isolated, self-contained place for it and concentrate development in an area where building has already occurred.

GL is expected to present its plan to the Palm Beach County Planning Commission in December and follow up with a presentation to county commissioners early next year.

The COBWRA meeting where Grosso will make remarks is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday
