Summery air will cover most of the South over the next few days, except for some areas east of the Appalachians seeing a break from the warmth. However, another cold front will be moving in starting Sunday to lead in some cooler air. The front will cause a few gusty storms on the way through. Unfortunately for Florida, the front will stall along the Gulf Coast, so it will stay warm and muggy there. Out in the tropics, we don't have any big concerns through this weekend as Ophelia is far away and heading toward Europe. The hurricane season isn't over, yet, though, and we'll have to watch the Caribbean and perhaps the area off the Southeast Coast for a time later this month.
