Much colder air filling in, West Texas and East Coast snow potential
The front is slowing to a crawl as it moves through, but most of the South is feeling the cold. Waves of moisture riding over the cold air will lead to some snow and ice potential over the next few days. West Texas will get it first, then parts of the Southeast later in the week. Disturbances riding through the Midwest will also produce limited amounts of snow in Tennessee and Kentucky as well as the Appalachians.
