The music icon, and multiple Grammy winner, will release his latest album, 57th and 9th, on November 11, 2016 on A&M/Interscope Records. This is the artist's first album released in over a decade.

"I don't think he's rocked like this since [1983's] Synchronicity," says 57th and 9th producer, Martin Kierszenbaum.

Sting is also known for fronting the band The Police. A band that was listed in Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. The band released five studio albums and earned six Grammy Awards. This included the 1981 hit "Don't Stand So Close to Me" and the very popular "Every Breath You Take" in 1983.

As a solo artist, Sting has a long history of hits, Grammys and other achievements. His first solo album, The Dream of Blue Turtles (1985), included the hit song "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free." His second album, Nothing Like the Sun (1987), included the hit song "We'll Be Together" and earned Sting three Grammy nominations. In 2004, the artist won another Grammy for his song "She Walks the Earth."

Sting has also won two Brits, a Golden Globe, an Emmy, three Oscar nominations, a TONY nomination, Billboard Magazine's Century Award, and MusiCares 2004 Person of the Year. Additionally he wrote and performed in his own Broadway musical, "The Last Ship." In 2003, Sting was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Police.
